ABOUT THE MEETING

The 5th Congreso Argentino de Fitopatología (Argentine Congress of Phytopathology) and 59th Meeting of the APS Caribbean Division is jointly organized by the Asociación Argentina de Fitopatólogos (Argentine Association of Phytopathologists) and the American Phytopathological Society – Caribbean Division. The meeting will take place on September 22th, 23th and 24th, 2021 in Corrientes (Argentina), at the Centro de Transferencias de Investigación Agropecuaria y Agronegocios (CTIAA, Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (UNNE).

The main goals are knowledge and experience exchange among AAF and APS partners, and other scientists and technicians interested in the present and future of phytopathology.

The meeting theme, ‘Production diversity, plant health and sustainability’ is a challenge to generate awareness on sustainability for all the production related systems by developing research projects that reflect a balance between growth, environment and society.
